Hello loves!!!!!!
My trip to Vancouver was AMAZING!!!! I have never been to such a beautiful, majestic place in my life! Vancouver has mountains, hills, tall buildings, trees and the ocean all in one and it's so perfectly placed! I could drink the tap water because it was so clean and I could also breathe the fresh air. It was hot, but not gross NC humidity hot, and when it rained, it sprinkled for five minutes and it was done. I also got the best sleep that I haven't had in a long time, and no one was bugging me every five minutes. I didn't miss being at work and I didn't miss being at home. Getting to the airport was stressful and I was shaking on the plane, but once I got through customs ( that shit was funny) I was ok.
It felt good to breathe..get away from the petty shit at work and the drama from family. I felt like I had escaped prison and didn't have any shackles on me. I was treated nicely and had some very interesting food. I also had the pleasure of meeting
and her lovely family. Every day I did something fun, and I learned something new. I finally found a place that will inspire my writing and maybe I'll even make it my new stomping ground. I got back in on Thursday and went to work on Friday because hey, I got cats to feed. People tried to be sneaky today at work but I didn't trip because I know one day, they will all be behind me and feeling really stupid about their shenanigans. Freedom is more than physical; it's mental too. When I saw myself flying above the clouds I smiled. I hadn't smiled in so long my face hurt. I have really been unhappy in my current situation and even though I have been confronting issue head on, I keep seeing the same devil n a different disguise. I remain strong through everything, but even strong people need a break. I need to make a change and I am planning on it. #byeusa Skin by fantasy-alive
