Inspired by Dramira by missmjwilson Inspired by Dramira by missmjwilson
Today started off on the wrong foot, then eventually developed into a fractured ankle, metaphorically speaking. However, I designed this makeup look after :icondramiratyrual: OC, Dramira. She's absolutely mysterious, confident, elegant and gorgeous just like the woman that created her. Ironically, the name of the red lipstick is called "Snow White" by NYX cosmetics.

Why am I thinking Nane from 'Lilo & Stitch'?

Hee hee, well Nane (imho) was a hottie. Kinda like like a tom-boyish Vargas pin-up girl. :D

Oh, my goodness, that's GORGEOUS!
I know for a fact, that the smokey black into white is a very hard look because I've done it. I love, love, love how you put the red into it.
You are so beautiful, and I'm blown away by the fact something I made inspired you. :D
I've never used NYX, how is the brand?

Thank you :) The black into white is TOUGH!!! I had to practice that technique using Amy Nicoletto's from the show LA Ink pictures. I use the "cut crease" technique using the eye pencil "Perversion" from Urban Decay and I prime the crap outta my lids to give the shadow some opacity and keep the fallout to a minimum. I also have a crap ton of blending and crease shadow brushes.Nyx cosmetics is one of the most awesome brands I've ever used and I'm a MAC girl at heart. It has pretty much the same quality as MAC just a little easier on the wallet.

I've never used a primer, I use concealer over my lids because they're dark. I have "hooded" eyes which means the brow part kinda is over the lid, barely any lid shows, so I draw under my brow where the bone is to shade there and give the illusion I dont have hooded eyes.
I usually blend by just doing soft circles, but for the dark parts I pack it in and wet the brush so it won't crease or fade. Sometimes I just blend with my fingertip. I'll have to check out NYX.

Concealer works magic, too. A lot of Drag mommas and queens got me into that as of late. That's a pretty awesome technique, I'm gonna try wetting the brush when I do another dark look :) I'm excited :)

Yeah dip the brush in water, press it to a napkin so it isnt dripping and looks damp, it'll last forever and come out really strong
